I don’t expect teenage me would take any of this advice because she would have the certainty of youth, certainty that you know how the world works and how your life will run. (Hint: it’s not going to go like you planned.)
I know you won’t believe me, but you are actually pretty cute. Don’t let anyone tell you different. Although I know they will. And you will believe them.
Teenage boys are largely stupid and not worth your time or your tears.
One of your biggest regrets from your school years will be not having bunked off for a day. Consider doing this.
Forgive yourself when you make mistakes. You will make mistakes. The sooner you forgive yourself the sooner you can move on.
There will be a day when you sit in your car wondering which way to go. Go to the coast. Don’t go to the city.

“Teenage boys are largely stupid and not worth your time or your tears.” this advice was pretty much given to me by my school counselor. Ha! 😛
